Demo Impressions: Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

“This is actually a script for a video, but seeing as how I’m going to use my first script I’d figure I’d leave this here for you guys to read as I make the video later.”

Who’s excited for the new Pokemon remake? I’m not, but I know everyone else is excited.
Now while I may or may not get the game, I did received a code from Nintendo once again to check out their new game. So let’s get this started.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say that this game will mostly likely be the same as the original game and the previous games, but regardless let’s see what new stuff is in store.
Well from what I’ve played of the demo, there isn’t a whole lot of new content or change that you should expect. The battle system is the same as before, the mechanics of the game is the same, and pretty nothing has really changed.
The only change in this remake is that now you can mega evolve your Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire, although Blazikan is no surprised if you got it in Pokemon X & Y. Oh and don’t worry about which starter you pick, you’ll get to play and test all of them afterwards.
The game overall has nothing new to showoff that we haven’t seen in the Pokemon series.
Although as a demo, you can transfer rewards you unlock in the demo from repeated playthroughs to your full game as a little bonus when you start. Which is good incentive to get the demo to play if you’re able to.
Ahhh yes I mentioned repeated playthroughs, well this demo is embarrassingly short but that was good for me. after your first playthrough you can play it again to do some side missions, reveal some small tweaks in the demo, and unlocking rewards like I mentioned. beating the game each time shows you the trailer for the game.

But that’s the demo, nothing new aside from getting the rewards transferred over. And with that I hope you found this demo impressions helpful on what to expect of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire when the full game comes out.
